Suicidal Friend

Remember when we were young?

Staying out late

And getting drunk

We had no worries to come

Just getting laid

And acting Dumb

You were so shy

Getting high

And telling lies

Laughing and smiling

Video games

And hiding

Chilling at the park

Until it got dark

Acting cool

But we're such a fool

I knew what made you laugh

But I heard you crying in the bath

Breaking apart

What did I do?

I wanna do something for you

You went home

I'm already worrying

A gun you were borrowing

Are you okay?

A bad day?

Are you feeling gray?

"I love you"

I'm sure that'll pay

"I wonder what you're doing"

I think about that everyday

Hoping nothing bad happens

I want you to stay

Sunny day

But sad day

Staring out the window

I hope you'll actually stay

Why are you isolated now?

"I'm sorry"

Don't say that before me

I'm useless

Can't I make it go away?

Your heart went astray

But one day

I guess I was too late

You sent me a message

"Sure I'll stay"

But I guess that was a lie

Crying

I didn't even get to say goodbye

I've had some suicidal

I've had some suicidal friends when I was in school.  Sometimes I am suicidal,  well I have the thoughts.  Sometimes all you can really do is try to be there for that such person and remind them as to why they shouldn't kill themselves.
