A Cold Winter

If I decided to say goodbye

would you notice that i'm gone

would you realize i'm not happy

or that anything was wrong.

Would you see the things I want in life

won't work around you own

are you willing to live without me

all alone within your home.

To lay alone on winter nights

a cold winter for you

so when I come to say goodbye

please tell me what you'll do.

I've read several of your poems and had trouble deciding which one I should comment on. You write some wonderful stuff!

This is the one I liked the best from what I read. This like most of your work seems to come from your heart. That's always the sign of a good poet. If your write from your heart and soul you can't go wrong.

Keep up the good work!

Nice write. The opening lines reminded me of an old Superdrag song..."Look around, would it bring somebody down if I never made a sound again?"
