if you could just stay with me

but that will never happen

you had to go,

I know your love is true

and that you didn't want to leave

please do never worry

your love I know.

I would never forget us

and simply look for someone else

forgetting what we really

could have been,

but I can't forget our words

promised vows forevermore

I will never forget

the things we've seen.

I would never say goodbye

while you were doing what is right

I would not take back the things

I said before,
