if all of life is composed

of matter,

then unless we are dead

there is no "other"

extreme of this word.

the word is a contradiction

unto itself,

and man has no choice

but to be part of it.

there are no "spiritual beings"

walking in the flesh,

and even the thrifty

are greedy for thrift.

even the saintly

received life as a gift,

the poor lust for food,

and the rich lust for power,

it's a material life...

...minute by minute,

hour by hour.

Exactly...you got it!! We all

Exactly...you got it!! We all are! This was inspired by many comments made on a thread where people were boasting about not being materialistic.
