Incinerated

Hours and years of work,

Up in glorious raging flames,

Cleansing the long, laborious road,

Satisfaction in the pit of my belly,

Like lying by the fireplace after

A Thanksgiving feast,

Another unknown destination awaits,

No plan for recreation,

As love paves the way

To this nightmare's perdition,

Gathering calls of a new intuition,

I'm basking in justice's name,

So glad to know love is the same.

How did you know?

Actually, I think it's been gathered for a long time now, like maybe 25 years, but I am realising it.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

After a 15 year engagement,

After a 15 year engagement, it would be in order, although I am not a believer in marriage as an institution, and do not condone the the legal system's use of love as a 'legal' issue. If I had it my way, people would co-habitate if they want to, or not, and be responsible for each, and not co-dendent upon each other, which is what the use of 'legal marriage' does. I stand very firm in my belief that I do not need a piece of paper with someone's signature on it to love anyone, and neither does anyone else. But laws are such that they seek to take a person's individuality from them, mostly for the purpose of fathers who are delinquent on child support, and insurance purposes.

Just how I see it.

To us, we have been married for 15 years already.

Thanks

You know, actually, there is a type of legal marriage in the Hindu Philosophy that condones this type of union.

From Wikipedia--- "e.g. Gandharva vivaha etc. In certain poor vaishnav communities there is still a custom called kanthi-badalwhich is an exchange of bead-garlands as a very simplified form of ritual in solitude in front of an idol of Krishna, considered a form of acceptable love marriage"
