So you found me stranded solo,

somewhere, dear heart, up the road,

building faith to ease the sorrow,

through clear grace here once bestowed.

Shades of gray and blue around me

taught me ways to see no red.

Stranded solo, yes you found me,

shaping prayers inside my head.

Ode to wonder while in wander,

I'm to be throughout my time,

should it seem, dear, mine to ponder,

songs of rhyme here yet entwined.

So you found me stranded solo,

resting, dear heart, in the grass,

hoping so to mend the heartache,

in the wake of what must pass.

Mid-day musings stirred a vision

of white autumn doves in flight.

Stranded solo, how you found me,

tracing Heaven through the light.

Ever bright here now the setting;

cleansing hopes where sunshine beams.

Ever true, dear, 'cause your blessings

have arrived upon the scene.
