Question life and love

Love must come,
as it well, must go,
its dropped by one,
and picked up by another.
Pain, misjudgement, death to a soul.
happiness, health, freedom.
It brings all of these.
great is one love, until it is lost.
Greater is that love once found again.
We hold it firm like a child does his mothers hand.
but soon, it is lost, it slips through your fingers like sand.
once loved, but now lost.
I sit alone, trying to count the cost.
Was it worth it?
Everyone says, "All love is worth it!"
but are they feeding me a delicious bowl of lies?
I have this feeling that they are right,
but why does it hurt, it feels like i just got out of a fight.
I gave it all i had,
but, I couldn't see whether the feelings were the same.
They say "Love is Blind"
they said right, I was blind
and now my own soul i must find.
of all the treasures i have recived and lost,
love was the one, with the greatest cost,
I lost that treasure, and my soul too.
But even if the love is lost, and my soul I must still find
you must know, I Still love you.
