It was all good

and it was all fun

But when she appeared

It seems as if we're done



I wanna call and talk

see how things are

But I dont think you care

The time has been split too far



You dont call me

and when I call you

Its like our lives have drifted

But this I always knew



We used to be inseperable

But now it seems to be

That you have a life

And nowhere have you remembered me.



So I'll leave with this thought

Of how you and I were

The great times we had

And how you're now sharing them with her.



How our lives have no reason to connect

Since it wasnt anything more

You've forgotten me

And that makes me a little sore



We WERE best friends

but because we were scared to take a jump

its slowly ended

leaving my throat with a lump



I'll miss the times

and the laughs

But I guess I have to remember now

That's all in the past



So here's a toast

To what could have been

I'll drink it down alone

And miss you once again



The road we have chosen

Has become our new path

I've got things to do

I'll just remember and laugh



So this time around

Here is to you and her

I hope she makes you happy

Happier then we ever were.
