Behind

February 12th, 2004

Behind the mask

Questions to hard to grasp

Behind the faces

There are no places

Behind the motionless

And the thoughtlessness

Behind the magic fantasy

Of hopes and dreams wishingly

Behind the stars

and everything that is ours

Behind the faceless form

That hides in the dorm

Behind the dimmed light

Behind the eye sight

Is a girl worth everything

Just scared of what life will bring

Behind the body that is consealed

Is a soul, an heart, ready to be revealed

Behind everything that she worked for

Lays her mother, her intrenal sore

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is in two sections because it is a poem of my mother, yet has the titles of my poems in the *~My Life, My Poems~* Folder. But the meaning of this is that behind all of this, there was never a mother for all of the accomplishments. But I also thought that it would be fun to take all of my titles and make a poem from my other titles. I didnt think that it would end with something about my mother, that was a suprise to me.
