Lightriver

Ive made a mistake again
crept up to my only friend
and slit his throat as he slept
now he may lay forever
in a field of blood-red lilies
pull him to the ground
I loved you like a brother
yet you left me desolate and cold
freezing in the stratosphere
begging me to fall
feel the rush of air
as I dive to my destruction
pretend that I dont care
that ill obliterate my spine
ripping my bones bare
skeletal marionette
dancing to your dirge
fall through a starlit floor
smash through hydrogen knots
vaporize to nothing
float on solar winds
never master of my fate
and I like it that way
keeps things interesting
as I accomplish everything and nothing.

Solar winds

to foat on solar winds is sooooo topical, the poem was macabre and dark and imp from hell spot on...who could read this poem and weep for such beautiful descriptions of a tormented soul? . . . allets

Reading your poetry is like Making Love vs. Fucking.
I never know if it is going to be soft, and sweet.
I never know if it is going to be intense, and emotionally raw.
I do know that whatever you happen to have on your person at the time to strap me down with, or gently hold me up just know that I'm thinking "Damn, this is good. This is what I want."
