Autumn Memories

We see lights twikling in the early evening
When the leaves start to change color.
Upon the myst of twilight we see each other
When the cold weather clears our minds
And notice it is not Summer Anymore;

Cold shivers our bones,
While animals gather for food.
We ponder what winter will bring us
But we don’t and enjoy the leaves instead

We pick the leaves up,
While other pick their kids from football,
We look out the window,
While we make hot coco.

Apples are eaten,
While we prepare for Pumpkin Pie.
Corn is eaten,
But Turkey is around the corner.

The life of Autumn comes,
We say Goodbye to Summer,
But soon it will be Hello to Winter.
