investment bust

never made much money from poetry, but sold a poem for $100.00 once. Workshops pay, if you work for the state or the city or the fed. I like poems as lists - quantrain shopping and allusion savings - that's the life for me - Loved it! - the undercurrent was fine fine fine - Lady A

Glad you liked it!

Thanks for your comment :-) This is actually part of a rock 'n' roll musical play that I wrote called "Void", which is about a poet's struggle - following her dreams versus making a living. :-) The very first time I got paid for my writing was for a poem I wrote. 6 dollars. lol! That's when I decided I was going to do my best to try and make a living from my writing. It's an up and down journey but it's the best ride of my life :-)

Check out my poetry book - as I write it! http://lostincyberspacepoems.blogspot.com
