A Mother's Love

What gift could I give

To show you I live

Loving you so very much

Our hearts are still together

With love that'll last forever

But I miss your tender touch

Holding me tight

Making everything right

I feel safe from any harm

There's nothing you ask

That's too much a task

But I miss your protective arms

Speaking so kind

Never leaves me behind

Makes me soar high as the birds

In a voice so clear

Spoken so dear

But I miss your gentle words

Please don't weep

Just know that I keep

Loving you throughout the days

I'm glad you're here

To remove my fear

But I miss your gentle ways

Tender Touch...

Protective Arms...

This is nothing new

Gentle Words...

Loving Ways...

What I really miss...Is You
