I lost my friend
she soared from my arms
into outer space
transfixed by the Unknown
I've been there once or twice
wasn't nice
though
She withdrew her gaze and outstretched arms
this sister who bathed me in her beauty and cooled me from the ills of mankind
Vanished outer space.. hebrides
denied life
denied love
denied friendship
I upturn my heart
and wait for the sun to bathe my eyes again
And keep my spirit warm
