Pond-like eyes

Pond-like eyes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scantily clad

wearing just rags

Blurred and glistening

from many nights dreaming

Beckoning eyes

and thighs that tantalise

until sunrise

squeezing my life from me

Pond-like eyes that mesmorise

I drop into them

Ripples of pleasure

innumerate measure

Read them and weep

Her eyes laced with deceit

Gone is my retreat

Back into migratory sleep

Beautiful!

Starward

Again to find this wonder! For me, this takes on so many moods.
Again there seems a bit of desolation evident, yet the dreaming place holds a perfection that is weighed against reality. I find this amazing in that it touches me with such clarity, as if I know the mindset and the dream.

"What incense is skyward bent?"---one of my lines.

Tim :)
