Betrayal *published in poetrymag.com*

Masquerade of the mind

blinded me from truth.

Kept me at bay

like an anchored ship.

Rumors fell from lips,

as you dropped from my heart.

The horses mouth

fed me honesty

from its own trough.

Lesson learned,

as always,

the hard way.

I can fully relate to this. I was posting at another poetry site and they suddenly had 22 pieces of my posted work missing when I called them they said it was a computer glitch and they would get it back,it never returned. I sent a return receipt letter listing the titles and got the green card sent back and no acknowledgement to my letter. Late in Yahoo news and a well-known poetry magazine I saw they had over 1,000 counts of fraud against them.yeah I know what it's like to be hurt...
