Destiny of Poetry

The poets and their poetry,

Both do have a brighter destiny,

So was foretold,

By the Victorian, Matthew Arnold.

Even if the prose goes to the lead,

As the rabbit did,

Leaving the turtle behind,

Poetry its crown shall certainly find.

If beauty is truth, truth beauty,

Both beauty and truth are engraved in poetry.
