WAITING

Waiting, Watching and looking,
Impatiently expecting what may come,
Anxiety taking the best of me,
Curiousity catches me on my pants,
Fear displaces my boldness,
And tension graps me like a toy,
Trepidation holds me hostage.

I still wonder what is coming,
It's either God or the devil,
'Cos the euphoria is supernatural,
The surrounding breeze is heavier than normal,
And seems to approach me like a ghost,
My head swells and would fall off,
My feet failing, I want to fall,
I guess my CHANGE is coming.

Suddenly, it finally comes from behind,
In my mind, I heard thunders and saw lightenings,
I think I'd see fire if I should turn around,
But when I do, all I see is a shinning light,
So close and bright that my sight is obscured,
Hands grip my shoulders, as my fear is obvious,
But the voice I heard is rather soothing,
"It's me, baby" she says. "I'm here with you."
I smile, knowing most assuredly,
She is an angel for me.
