SIX BY SIX

We all wait, while we wail,

We all watch, as we wail,

Workers dig, while we wail,

Wasting no time, ‘cos we wail,

The earth is measured, as we watch,

Shovels move, while we wail,

Six feet, length and depth for any waste,

Soils mounted, waiting for the waste.

The end in sight, the grave site,

The body is lowered,

Last words said, while wailing,

Dust to dust, Ashes to ashes,

The last home of both poor and wealthy,

Measures only six by six!

Author's Notes/Comments:

Let me know if this flows very well,or if i need to amend. Written in memory of my beloved me, beside whose grave i waited, wailed and watched their final exit.
