Silenced Thoughts.

A tear falls, making a silent splash

Every word it strikes me, an invisible lash

It doesn't mark me, there are no cuts or bruises

On my skin, but underneath I'm covered in contusions...

I know you're just tired, the weight is suffocating, to breathe is that drink of water..

The mental pressure is squeezing, the people around you are screaming even harder..

But I'm you're refreshment, I thought...

You hug me at night, but we just fought...

I yell your name but the sound around you is what you caught...

You know what's in your mind...

But my thoughts are what you've yet to find...

I don't want to be selfish, but all you've heard is what you're saying...

And just because I'm whispering, doesn't make it nothing....

You're alone and you're accompanied by this rage,

By everyone yelling your name..

But I'm alone, accompanied by my hands and eyes..

By this thought that I wish would just die.
