I lie through my teeth

Say I understand your belief

I am tired of hearing your problems

And yet I never say no

That is my problem

I am tired of you



I say I care about you

And I really do

But I can’t listen anymore

You will have problems forevermore

And I will hear you

Because that’s all I do



I guess that’s my weakness

Caring for everyone’s happiness

But I can’t help it

That’s who I am

So I will sit

And listen to your problem



You guys broke up

I need you to stop tearing up

I comfort you

As you spill your pain

I listen to you

Until you become sane



Your parents are silent

You hate this treatment

So I listen

As you tell

Just how fucking

Quickly your life fell



You can’t stop

You’re addicted

You want to stop

But home is fucked

I pretend to be okay
