We all want things in life

We all have hopes and dreams

We try and give everything,

But some things just don’t last



In the beginning we are deceived

Deceived by all the glory

But in the end we are lost

We’re left behind with despair



We wish the candles could burn forever

That the light would never die out

But the darkness slowly creeps us

It follows us in the shadows



We try to run, we try to fight

But some things are just in vain

Although we try to never loose hope,

But some things we just have to accept
