Street of Choices

Folder:
[2005] Melancholy

Walking on this sad, lonely road

Trying to find a place I belong

Searching the path,

which leads to somewhere

Seeking a strong solid

piece of ground,

so I can stand stable.

Gazing at the street of choices

Wandering where wisdom lies

What is right and what is wrong

I can’t decipher the truth from the lies

Can’t find the hidden meanings,

Which lie beyond what I see

If only I could open my inner eye

I’m afraid to pick a road,

because I don’t know what I’ll find

Will I lighten my dark path?

Or just doom my bright future?

I have to make a choice,

because our future has already been decided,

we only need to find the road to walk.

I like Street of choices, very much.
Life is a process of making choices.
Only we can hope we make the right decisions.
Some will be right, some not so good. But all
we can do is try. But try we must. Alot of
your work has a sadness. You are a very talented
writer. Good luck clayton. keep writing.
