walking on a sidewalk,

i see crushed pedals in the distance.

the flower bush has lost its beauty,

as i feel i lost half of my existance.

the other half of me departed,

so she can find herself.

i still try to be kind hearted,

while inside im losing strength.



as an acorn falls in front of me,

i stop and view 2 squirrels play fighting,

while birds soar in and out of the trees

chirping thier own little song.

i stand and ponder about the times,

that we fought, played, and laughed.

i never thought that i would have to miss you.

and now i realize you're gone.



everyday has its end,

every future has a new friend.

i hope you are that friend,

that is for me.

tomorrow will bring a new day,

and that will give us new words to say.

this will keep our friendship strong,

as long as it just doesn't go wrong.

If it does, its just not meant to be.
