could it ever be true?
walk along a sea of sanity
my ideals a fiery calamity
my feet no longer ache fiercely
they are numb to all below
a childs cry startles my daydream
startles me from sleep
running towards the aging scream
into a new piece of me
this beauty is my veil
a cloak I hide within
safely hidden behind a dream come true
destroy dissent
annihilate the ever-blue
happily sorrowful tears are shed
traipse around in destinies tears
in respect its a needed digression
I am unrepentant for progression
when it brings me to a new sea
bathed in such pleasant intervention
I think I have seen
what is a king without a queen?
powerless
unwhole
in this fairy tale the truth never stings
or bites with jagged teeth
I've searched through tangles of time
got stuck in mires of truth
in my ignorance have shared pieces of me meant for you
my eyes were opened
then I stumbled upon a clearing
there you stood
an introduction to a goddess
I kissed your hand
then this god smiled right
truth in every moment
the light is now real light
the darkness burning bright
and the you in me is so appeased with amorous relief
I'd die if ever twice I'd see such beauty
such release
