Lies Of Autumn
How did it come to this?
Everything shades the truth.
In self-inflicted paralysis,
I see what my world is coming to.
Endless visions sinking in,
Read the stories on my skin.
Left with shadows to make amends,
Wake me up when September ends.
Hearts of steel and eyes of fire,
I've tripped inside my mind.
The light becomes a dark desire,
Sanity seems so left behind.
My galaxy implodes as my planets collide,
Left to mend the void of darkness inside.
The tornado, she can't discern destruction from mend.
Wake me up when September ends.
A midnight sky of stars is falling,
I will not be crucified.
Angels whisper all around me,
Waking every demon inside.
The shadows all around me
Push me to come undone.
And in the dark I whisper
"You'll never be what I become."
Read the stories on my skin.
Geez woman!

From the tile to the last line, I love it! But this is my favorite of it all:
