Your face seems like a riddle I try to solve
So, just maybe I have became too involved?
Wishing days I could spend with you
Seeing if our love could be all that's true.

You wreck my world and scatter my mind
You leave me shaking; until I am blind.
To tell you what I feel seems as a sin,
But please, don't let this mystery end.

My heart feels like endless dreams
Spiraling downward to it's seams
Making visions seem so true
My head knowing I can't have you.

Wishing I could have one chance
Just one simple slow dance.
Just to have your arms around me;
Holding me tight. But it can't be.

Mistakes seem so unreal
Loving you is but a thrill
I can't let my heart take over
For I am in love with another.

I could never cheat; nor could I lie
But, I never want to tell you goodbye.
If I told you how I felt, you may feel it too
But I'm sorry, I cannot fall in love with you.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

There is a mystery behind every surface of love just waiting to be found, even if you've given your love to one and open yourself only to find you've given your heart to another long before. It's the mystery that is far beyond anyone's power but has to be controlled. It's the same mystery that leaves us sleepless at nights and crying others. Making the wrong choice seems to be the only fear. Do we let fear win over our heart's lonely power? Or do we stay were we are fear of change? Fear of not being loved back? Do we torment ourselves trying to figure it out or call out to God--the higher power--to fix our heart that seems so broken? It's not easy giving up chances and letting them fade into the wind. However, if you do you may feel somewhat better. Just letting love die and chances fall hoping that the words never come up again from anyone but the one whom has the ring on your finger.
