You ran your fingers around in my hand

You put your arm around me

You told me that you would understand

Those words came so easy

Lonely feeling left my heart

Only for a minute, the pain did stop

This is when we have to part

I have another on my very top

This ring on my finger belongs to him

I don't want to break him into

I don't know where this will end

but I have to walk away from you.



We both know there's something there

Feelings we've hidden and put away

Some that, since today, we now share

Something might happen another day

It's hard to say what might be

He might grow tired of the distance

and Want to forever leave me

Just remember my sweet face

You think about me, I know you do

I can't take back the mistake I commited

I don't know what to tell you

You know this isn't what I intended.
