The Real Me
I had to hide everything,
I held it all in.
I tried so hard to pretend,
That I didn't sin.
I built the walls up so high,
All I could do was fall.
With everything on my back,
I fought just to crawl.
I balanced everything I could,
So you would never know.
You see everything as fine,
Just because I say it is so.
But my back is finally broken,
My seams just want to split.
The walls are falling down,
I'm buried in this pit.
I am all alone,
My faults for you to see.
Will you stay once,
You see the real me?
