I try to be a happy person
Though sometimes it can be hard
I need to dig down really deep
But it's worth it when it's found
My self esteem sometimes takes a dive
and then there's my insecurities
Add them together and look out!
I don't even want to be around me then
Through it all though
The ups and downs
The good times and bad
There's something I have learned
Dig down deep and find that smile
Be positive, optimistic, hopeful
It makes a difference when it shows
And you will shine
