Fear and Loathing most dually noted

For your works are truly quoted

Acid trips and LSD mishaps

The acid trip flashbacks and relapse

Loving you for your work and life

Cutting grapefruits with a knife

I sit and think what it will be like now

I can now only stand and bow

As I sit and ponder my next move

I see now I have something to prove

To you, to me, to all my friends

This poem is to make amends

Not actions of the present

But actions I shall resent

Loving a person I never met

Knowing enough to know he was sent

To help me with life and teach me new things

In this life you gave me hope and wings

To help me through times I was dreading

Which is why I call this: Fear and Loving
