Spooky season is coming

As my Halloween 
Obsessed soul

Is awakening
Days getting shorter
As the mornings
Get colder
Even an eclipse to
Cap off the summer
Before September 

And the official

Halloween countdown starts
Soon the leaves
Will be changing

With them 
A chill in the air
They will be bringing
Decorations all over stores
Already happily seeing

As in the magic and the whimsy

Of it all

My soul is happy to be playing
Horror movies
Already binging

As visions of 

Witches, ghosts, and madness
Fill my head

Yes spooky season is coming
And I for one am
More than ready
