Of who you are
Stop trying to

Hide it

Trust me

Nothing good
Ever comes
From hiding
Running scared
Or giving in
Becoming someone fake

Someone you are told to be

Because it makes

Others happy
Just for a false sense

Of being safe or right 
A false sense of security
At the price of your dignity 
And living as nothing

But a sheep
Always fake

Never real
An individual
Held prisoner
Trapped in a
Conformist nightmare
A lie of a dream
You were sold
By those with power

They don't deserve
Stand up
Fight back
Back down to no one

Take their power away
Yes take your power back
By refusing
To back down
Or give in
Stand tall
Stand proud
And live as nothing short

Of the individual
You truly are
