I have scarlet dreams
but no one to tell
No one can withstand this heat
or look deeply into my eyes and survive another
unmaimed heartbeat
I know how it feels when it hurts to breathe,
but your body just can't help itself.

There are people who will
There are people who will listen to anything and listen with compassion. You have to seek them out and want to let go of your pain. It is not as easy of a decision to let go of pain that has found a home within us for so many years as most people would think. We tend to have fears of letting go, as it requires changes to made in our entire perspective of life---and that can be quite scary. Follow your heart. No one can give the world exactly what you do---no matter how insignificant your life may appear to you, you are needed.

LIfe my love you almost amde me cry in a cafe! and trust me getting me to cry has been a battle for the last 3 years or so, but these tears came without effort!

Don't cry so long
get it out in one big blast
of thunder and lightening
downpours of rain
that take away the need
to feel scarlet unshared
or fire too hot for the body
to survive inside joy.

Jus Groovin' With The Poet
I love the word scarlet, I adore the word unmaimed and the notion of an unmaimed heart. I was looking for a synonym recently for untainted. Unmarred comes to mind aftrer re-reading this gem. The one line verse at the end has significance, but eludes me. Congratulations 1 of 1st top ten selectees. ~allets~
