Subatomic Swoon (A Wretched Fiction Part Two)

Oh I have you now

A slow and steady heartbeat

An astral dream

The Quantum Physics of snow flakes

(I’d like to whisper what I mean)

Eyes in the mirror crack

A subatomic swoon of

grit and mass

These little reveries

rumble me like

bass in a car radio

(then I really think of you)

So I ache to vibrate somewhere

close to you

and it‘s quiet now

Overall the calm pleases you

Outside- the world is filled with thunder

invasive mouths

abrupt hand gestures

But not here

Not in the pulsation of your kingdom

where each song feels more like

the gentle sway of flowers in a field

My eyes in the mirror crack

Do you know what I mean?
