heal where they were left waiting
I am shaped oddly
but beautifully tragic
someday you will see this
yet you will look away quickly
and I will not be there when
you glance backwards
you will reach out with both lying hands
and only dust will greet you.

I thought maybe it was just the time I read it and this poem would maybe shift and be less impacting, but time has passed,feelings have changed and this poem still hits me in the gut like a fist!
