Dark Poetry

Diseased and haunted

we stigmatized, fall.

Alone and flaunted.

we’re weak and small.

Verdict and trial

we guilty, dismiss.

Infected and vile,

we’re ignorance and bliss.

Defaced and violated

we painted, exposed.

Malignant and faded,

we’re burned and disposed.

Angels and crying

we intricate, design.

Remorseful and lying,

we’re cold and resigned.

Careless and ending

we fighters, breathe.

Heroes and pretending,

we’re anger and need.

Anxious and kindred

we fearless, unharmed.

Nowhere and hindered,

we’re enchanted and charmed.

Drowning and bleeding,

we die by these words.
