No Room


A soft caress whips by on airplane dotted skys You tell me

things that I just can't believe You lied to me about that one

page in the story book I went back and read all I thought

about you but there was no window in the room to be found

I was replaced and repressed but the aqua sky reflected in my

eyes and you never saw the pain you gave

You told me I was the most important Then you got up and left

Before this even Before we really spoke Before you saw me cry

in the back of my families blue van I found you on our couch

tapping your foot I think your green shoes never came

off you kept on walking by
