I know what you are thinking

when you hold me to your chest.

Your fingers caress softly up my spine

as you lay my fears to rest.



I know what you are thinking

as you kiss me long and deep.

You are breathing all your love for me

into my heart to keep.



I know what you are thinking

as you gaze deep into my eyes.

You are sending me your promises,

that for us, there's no goodbyes.



I know what you are thinking

as you lay with me to sleep.

You are giving me your very soul

to treasure and to keep.
