MY LAND OF LOVE AND DREAMS

Stretched out and tired all over the spoils,

That your own hands and fate had created,

Love like death, lies there waiting for you and me.

You meanwhile sitting there, like a deserted island,

Of forgotten visions and dreams for me,

In the hushed breaking silent of the moonlit nights.

There too low my love, fading away sometimes in an

Early flight,

With no traces of its dear presence, that you will

Ever find again,

Love had bade me already so many times its welcome

And goodbyes,

Yet, my soul in love and sorrow from yours had

Drew back

Because love for love's sake, is sometimes sadly

Not enough,

So you lay still, before me

Like a land unexplored of forbidden dreams,

Unspoken visions of some paradise spoiled

And forever lost,

In an island sleeping with all my dead dreams

Of you.
