You Not Like me

How many times I gotta say

Before you see

My physical aspect

Isn’t my entirety

You are blind to me

Never finding thee

Aspects and abilities

Only words are seen

Never heard as they are told

The price is sold

As my bold

Always blunt when I speak

Never hiding

Disguising my form

As I seek

Mesmerizing

Always surprising

Those who aren’t me

But I see your yearn to be free

In that aggravation

You judge what you see

Judge what is heard

Judge my language

And the way it’s being told

In your eyes

Depicts who I am

Yet in that judgment

It is I who understands

And see

People often despise

What they themselves could never be
