The Riddle

You think you know,
about those little things.
Just how they are told,
and what they bring.

They are riddles,
they are inspiration.
They are joy,
and sometimes boredom.

But do you know,
that they mean things.
Say things,
yes they talk.

A couple more clues,
before your que.
You are the detective,
and this is the story.

What do you know,
that usually flows.
Sometimes slowly,
or rather quickly.

They have many names,
they have many origins.
They can be beautiful,
sometimes hauntingly.

Have you guessed them yet,
figured out the riddle.
For the answer is simple,
they are poems.

The Riddle.

I liked your riddle poem too. Riddles add inclusion for the audience, and works better with their participation, evloving the plot inside the story, and revelations of this or that others and  their misdoings. I also like the riddles that are clearly  funny and amusing. Liked your entertaining poem very much.
