Two moms equal to one

This is the story of my moms

Two strangers become one

One gave me life to walk on earth

One made sure that it’s done

The first one brought me to this world

The next gave me a name

The first had to find me a home

The other quickly came

One gave me so many talents

One taught me how to use

I was given brain and body

Taught heart and soul to fuse

Now many ask me who I am

I give them answers clear

I am me, the product of two

Successful, to some, queer

So I thank God for my bounty

For moms, not one but two

More love for me, confusing though

But that is how I grew

This is the story of my moms

Two strangers become one

Now ask me not of who I am

Two moms equal to one

Beautiful, sounds like you were adopted and if I'm right then this is a double ode to birth mom and adopted mom,let me know I'm curious. Some who are adopted are fine till they find out this info then never treat the adopted mom the same again which is sad because both gave love in their own given mom
