Every man sings a sinner’s song
Human rights is a distant call
Countries fight on warfare – of all
Children’s weight is as light as sand
Our money’s worth nowhere at hand
Trees offer no shade anymore
The fishes are now washed ashore
Along with the wind are some smug
There’s not much in this world to hug
Hospitals are full of patients
No doctors to cure their ailments
Everything is just so askew
And now I have but only you
God’s gift of hope in this weary
world of chaos that’s so eerie
With your smile you make me feel calm
Can control my world in my palm
Yes child your smile, your eyes that glow
Brings peace to this world that I know
