I woke up in the arms

Of someone else today

I haven't heard from you in so long

I felt so alone

Maybe if I could remember last night

I might know her name

I'm not sure if you care anymore

And I feel so broken



I always wonder what you're up to

Where you are

The forever we talked about

Has gotten shorter

Everything has changed so fast, so far

All that we thought we had

Is out of order



Is it gonna be me

One of these days

One day soon

I'm gonna leave

I'll forget about you

Everything we have

I always have to guess

I feel like I'm somebody hired

To clean up all your mess



Maybe we went too far

Maybe we rushed so fast

That all the excitement caused

A fire still burning in the past

But that flame has burned out here

Put out by the drops of so many tears
