Dragon Fear

Dragon Fear

From a cabin filled with fire

born from hate, pain, death desire,

fed on fear, loneliness, and lies,

into the night time dark he flies.

He might come in any state

polymorphed by greed and hate,

empowered by his mad blood lust,

He strives to turn all life to dust.

His eyes are blackened midnight sky,

To see them is a wish to die.

Paralyzed by dragon fear,

You can not scream when he is near.

With his fierce fire breath,

in your ear he whispers death.

You writhe in its unstopping pain,

as you burn in lightning rain.

He'll grab you with his blood soaked claws,

which kill and maim bereft of cause,

They tear and pull until you scream.

You wish it were a horrid dream,

His leather wings drive up a storm,

that blows and gusts to move his form,

So he can fly before the dawn,

But he'll be back before too long.
