I wish I could be what I aint,...



a Rembrant when I sit to paint...



but my amateur mess



is my utmost, I guess



If I ever get famous I'll faint.







Still , I must take my brush and translate



though my efforts don't carry much weight



but my mind and my heart



keep on doing their part



and the subjects keep acting as bait.







So I'll pick up my palette and brush,



my colours, both pallid and lush,



I hope that my strokes



may please other folks



who'll pay me so I will be flush.
