headlining incredible theaters
only to be downcast-ed
and overlooked
praying to God
that this time

yet recently the roles

and i can only place the blame
on my manager

so then i began to see
white knights
castles sky high
and prince charming
were just fairy tales
and tragedies of heartbreak
and life's misery
are the true reality
i realized that the fantasy
ends at cut
and the dreams
only stay on screen
