Searching

Many a fearsome gale

With broken prow and battered sail

Have I weathered

Many a desert land

Of parching sun and burning sand

Have I endured

Many a chilling frost

Of great danger, yet greater cost

Have I survived

Searching for true wisdom

With failing hope, home now I come

Yet still searching
