i was once asked if i ever loved anyone

i dont know how to answer that question

i thought i did love you at one time

but you never loved me

you say you "love" me

but you dont mean it the same as i do

is our love true

or is it a love of friends

you see it as a love of friends

i see it as true love

i wish you would love me the same

so maybe i wouldnt be

longing for love
